It is taking a long time

A document of 512 KB or more opens with a panel that says how far it has got. A large .riv reads at about a megabyte a second, and the last step, "Loading the preview — the window pauses for a moment…", holds the window briefly. See Limits and performance.

It opens, but something is missing

  • After a .riv import, the import report lists what the editor has no place for. File › Last import report… shows it again.
  • Text in the wrong font: see Fonts.
  • A live slot shows its placeholder: that is right until a source is connected. See Video does not appear.

A template will not open

A template card that says NEWER EDITOR needs a newer airZ Editor. See Cloud templates.
