Updating airZ Editor
Which version you have, and how to move to a new one.
Which version you have
File › Settings… shows it under This editor: Release 1.0.0 (build 8). The right of the top bar shows it too, with the day it was built. Quote it when you report a problem.
Moving to a new version
A new version comes as a setup file. Run it over the one you have: if airZ Editor is open, the setup closes it first, then replaces the program.
Your documents are not in the program's folder, and neither are your settings, your keyboard shortcuts, your script shelf, your downloaded templates and materials, or your licence. They are all still there when the new version opens. See Where your files live.
Templates update on their own
The template library is online, so new templates and new versions of old ones arrive without a new editor. A template you have downloaded shows UPDATED when a newer version exists, and Get version N fetches it.
A template made with a newer editor than yours shows NEWER EDITOR: the card says what it is, but it opens once your editor is updated.
